2012 - 3rd Annual Bone Island Regatta May 16th - 19th

Start times have changed!  Sarasota is starting at 1100 hours, Tampa Bay is starting at 0900 hours on May 16, 2012,

 and Naples is starting

at 1200 hours on May 17, 2012!  NOR is updated.

Skippers meetings for Sarasota & Tampa will be May 15th at Sarasota Yacht Club, 

 as stated in the NOR's #5, check in will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Skippers Meeting for Naples will be May 16th at the Naples Sailing and Yacht Club. 

Last opportunity to get event tickets for Key West

is the Skippers Meeting

Deadline to order shirts is May 1, 2012.

Boat of the Year Race for SBYA with three great starting places!

Sarasota to Key West Race shall begin West of the mouth of Big Pass.

Tampa to Key West Race shall begin in Tampa Bay, near Marker #70. 

Naples to Key West Race shall begin West of the Naples Municipal Pier in the vicinity of 26 07.879N,  81 48.566W.

Leave all coastal government marks including Smith Shoal Light to port, thence to Key West Northwest Channel sea buoy “1” FL G 2.5sec bell, leaving it to port, then along the Northwest Channel to the finish line in the vicinity of the Key West Bight Channel as more fully described in the sailing instructions.  Rated course distances are Tampa Bay 188 Nautical miles, Sarasota 169 nautical miles, or Naples 97.5 nautical miles.

                                                                     

Open to any single hulled, self-righting, enclosed cabin sailing boat that hold a current, valid, WFPHRF rating and to all offshore multi-hull yachts that have a current, valid WFPHRF rating. See the Notice Of Race for more details.......
